OCTAVISION
The Octavision is a multi-channel inspection tool for the near drum (mud/steam) region of swaged or unswaged drum to drum boiler tubes.
This system is useful for the detection and quantification of pitting, cracking and general corrosion at the tube/drum interface.  The Octavision is motorized and can test 600 tubes per shift with real-time display of flaws.
This dry contact technique requires minimal cleaning and is not affected by bad roll expansion.  This modular system uses specially designed software and hardware in conjunction with motorized probe, power supply, preamplifier and special cabling.
Each motorized Octavision scan collects data twice for instant repeatablilty / confirmation.  8 or 16 channels are used to cover the complete circumference and provide accurate clock-oriented flaw locations.
