The
TesTex, Inc. PS-2000 Multichannel NDT inspection system, can quickly
and accurately inspect ferrous and non-ferrous metal tubing from the
pipe O.D.
|
|
The
PS-2000 is based on the Low Frequency Electromagnetic Technique
(LFET) and normally has 8-channels for detection of MIC
(microbiological induced corrosion) Attack, FAC (Flow Accelerated
Corrosion), cracking, erosion, corrosion, and pitting wall losses.

Typical
applications for the PS-2000 are Service Water Piping, Fire
Protection, Coal Mill Piping, and virtually any piping with access to
the pipe O.D. In addition to piping, the PS-2000 can be used to
quickly inspect pressure vessels and heat exchanger shells. The LFET
PS2000 System can inspect through coatings.
|
|
The
PS-2000 does not require couplant or permanent magnets, which allows
for quicker inspections with minimal pipe preparation.
