TesTex utilizes a Low Frequency Electromagnetic (LFET) scanner with the TS-2000 System for Spray Dryer Absorber (SDA) Tank inspection.
In the past, SDA Tanks have been inspected using ultrasonic testing (UT) with access provided via scaffolding. The TS-2000 System coupled with magnetic crawlers virtually eliminates the need for scaffolding.
Also, unlike UT surveys that only provide spot readings, our method provides a complete inspection over the entire area scanned, providing thousands more data points than a UT survey. |
